Terms & Conditions:

Each trip will operate
with a minimum of 3 bookings per departure received by us. In case of
less than three bookings, we may add a modest surcharge, details of
which will be sent to you.

The tour cost is
strictly based on the enclosed itinerary and total number of hotel and
camp nights mentioned therein.

The above rates are
quoted per person based on sharing a double room and two persons tent.
A single room and tent can be provided at an extra single supplement,
however the provision of a single room and tent is not guaranteed due
to heavy bookings in peak season.

Every member is
entitled to bring a maximum of 15 Kg. of personal baggage while on
trek & 20 Kg. while on Jeep safari & Cultural tours. Any access
baggage portage will be charged separately.

If the trip has to be
delayed due to bad weather, road washouts, cancelled or delayed
flights, sickness, government restrictions or any other contingency
for which Trans-Pakistan cannot make provisions, the resulting extra
cost for such delays is not included and will be charged additionally
when required.

In case a person has to
leave the group and is evacuated by helicopter or on foot, the
resulting extra cost is not included and will be charged separately.
These charges will be paid by the individual/tour leader before
departure from Pakistan.

While traveling in
jeeps, a maximum of 04 persons plus one jeep driver are allowed. One
extra jeep for kitchen and group camping equipment is provided per
group for Jeep Safaris.

Each camel will carry
only one member and one camel driver. Members will not be allowed to
ride the camel without their drivers.

Reasonable changes in
itinerary may be made only where deemed advisable for the comfort and
safety of the members.

Helicopter Rescue can
be arranged on an advance deposit for US$ 6,000/- (refundable if not
utilized) for trekking and mountaineering trips only.

The above quotes are
valid till 31st March 2005
Insurance:
We
strongly recommend that you should be covered by adequate insurance for
personal effects, medical, trip cancellation, accident, illness,
personal injury, loss or damage of baggage or personal belongings and
helicopter rescue (for trekking and mountaineering trips only).
Medical Requirements:
Good
physical condition is required for all trips. Please consult your
physician to ascertain any special requirement/recommendation.
Responsibility:
TRANS-PAKISTAN, hereinafter referred to as Operator,
and/or its suppliers give notice that arrangements made by them for
transportation, hotel, sightseeing, and/or other services, are made by
them upon the express condition that neither the Operator not its
suppliers shall be liable or responsible for any direct, indirect,
consequential or incidental damage, injury, loss, accident, delay or
irregularity of any kind which may be occasioned by reason of any act or
omission beyond its control including without limitation any act of
negligence or breach of contract or default of any third party including
and not restricted to any carrier, hotel, restaurant, company or person
rendering any of the services included in the tour. The acceptance by
the tour member of tickets/service vouchers issued by the Operators
shall be deemed to imply full and explicit understanding and acceptance
that the Operator and/or its suppliers shall not be held responsible for
any damage or losses or expenses due to changes in itineraries and
schedules, overbooking of accommodation, or caused by strikes, civil
disturbances, hostilities, terrorism, acts of war or other force majeure
or acts of God or resulting directly or indirectly from an occurrence
including defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, quarantine,
weather, theft, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond its
control. The suppliers providing transportation, accommodation and
sightseeing arrangements for the tour programs are independent
contractors and are not agents or employees of the Operator. All
coupons, vouchers, exchange orders, receipts and tickets are issued
subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers. By
utilizing the services of said suppliers, the tour member agrees that
the Operator, its representative or said suppliers shall not be held
liable for any accident, loss, injury, delay or damage to the tour
member or those traveling with the tour member, in connection with any
accommodation, transportation or any other services. All travel
documents, e.g. passport and visas, and compliance with
customs/immigration/government regulations are the tour member’s
responsibility. No responsibility is accepted for any omissions, delay,
rerouting, additional expenses, or other events resulting from improper
health certificates or documents, or acts of any government authority.
The right is reserved to adjust the itinerary or to substitute hotels.
The terms under which the tour member agrees to take these tours cannot
be changed or amended except in writing, signed by an authorized officer
of the Operator. Any Litigation concerning the trip may be brought only
in Islamabad,
Pakistan and nowhere else, and Pakistan
law will be applicable to all aspects of any all such Litigation. The
acceptance by the tour member to tickets/service vouchers issued by the
Operator shall be deemed to imply full and explicit understanding and
acceptance of all the terms and conditions mentioned herein. Airlines
concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event
during the time you are not on board the aircraft. The passage contract
in use by the airline, when issued, constitutes the sole agreement
between the airline concerned and the tour member. |
